Beast

The interdisciplinary design collective beast was founded in the fall of 2003 in Vienna and connects graphic designers, video-makers, musicians, sound engineers and programmers. It´s challenge is to develop and realize intelligent communication concepts on a professional level. beast’s alter egobiest is the collective’s platform for non-commercial and art-related projects of each member. This playground and space for experimental work is the basis for the successful collaboration of beast.

Corporate Design

Based on each customer's corporate identity, beast developes consistent communication systems to guarantee the best visual representation of the company. The key-components like logo, layout-grid, color system, and typography aim to make the most effective branding possible.

Web & Interactive

The creation of complex information systems for the world-wide web calls for the balanced use of classical graphic design and the know-how of information architecture and software ergonomics. Besides online solutions, beast plans, designs and realizes multi-medial offline applications like DVDs and CD-ROMs. Using upfront technology and software beast is able to interweave graphics, animations, film, video, music and sound into an outstanding multi-medial product.

Graphic design

Despite the current importance of online media, beast doesn't neglect good-old graphic design. beast develops discrete and clearly structured concepts for print applications including stationary, prospects, brochures, magazines, posters, flyers and much more.

Video & Animation

beast doesn't only move the image, but makes the moving image an aesthetic strategy of the content. Besides projects that reach from creation and production of films and short films to their implementation into a cross-medial context, beast also offers single services in video and post production including special effects, motion design, DVD authoring, camera, editing and compositing.

Sound Design

In the beast studios we plan and realize advertising for TV and radio, music production for films, signations and jingles as well as sound design and compositions for presentations and events. The professional equipment, inviting atmosphere of the studio, and the skills of the engineers make it possible to create strong sound branding according to the customers wishes.

Event & Presentation

For events and presentations, beast connects all activities to spirited and enthralling situations. Always aware of the customer's wishes, we realize concepts in time and space that provide an ideal atmosphere for all different kinds of events. Examples are stalls, multi-media installations and indoor/ outdoor light and video projections.

Photography

For beast, photography means independent lifestyle and portrait or landscape works, as well as creating certain visual worlds and series that fit into corporate designs and communication concepts. Experience, visual sensibility and professional equipment make our works the “beast photos” on earth.
